InboundWriter Debuts New Advertising Feature to Help Google AdSense Publishers Make More Money
InboundWriter, an online content creation and optimization service, today announced an industry first capability that enables Google AdSense publishers, including bloggers, better monetize content as they type.
The feature, part of InboundWriter’s Content Strategy options, is just one of several new upgrades that were launched today (read the press release).
Advertising Strategy – Bloggers and publishers leveraging Google AdSense can now tailor their content around keywords with the highest cost-per-click (CPC) ratings. By optimizing around CPC data, publishers can attract higher paying contextual ads via the Google AdSense network. Just select how important advertising is to your content strategy, and InboundWriter will factor CPC pricing into its keyword recommendations to help those using Google AdSense. Where it’s located: In the WordPress plug-in, just click on the tools icon next to your Document Score to access your Content Strategy selections. To check the CPC ranking of any keyword, just click on the light bulb icon next to any Relevant Term. The CPC rating will be listed in the lower right-hand corner of the pop-up screen. In the web application, look for the Advertising Strategy in the left-hand toolbar in the Content Lab.
Content Strategies – Bloggers can now choose one or more content strategies using the new InboundWriter for WordPress plug-in, just like the web application. In addition to Advertising, they can select strategies for Search Competition or Reader Targeting to help optimize their content for maximum visibility and relevance. Where it’s located: See previous bullet point.
Automatic Topic Research - Users no longer have to input three seed terms to get their recommended keywords. Now, they can just start typing, or paste in content, and click a button to have InboundWriter analyze their content and automatically recommend the best keywords and phrases to use. This capability kicks in at 200 words and is an easy way to help increase relevance and search engine visibility. Where it’s located: Underneath Relevant Terms in the WordPress plug-in.
Ready to get started? Just log into the web application or download our new WordPress plug-in if you haven’t already.
We’d love to hear your feedback too!
